Tottenham Hotsnatch x Not In Your Mum’s Forest: Um Jornal Fotográfico

This summer amateur ladies football team Tottenham Hotsnatch went on their first international 5-a-side tour in Lisbon. For this tournament only, and due to an excess of players, they made the decision to split into two B teams.

Usually media-shy, the pillars of London’s amateur football community allowed a photographic journalist access to their world. The following is a candid and intimate glimpse into the inner workings of a team which, up until now, has been shrouded in mystery.

Chapter 1: The Villa

Tottenham Hotsnatch and Not in Your Mum’s Forest booked a 16 person poolside palace for their trip to Lisbon. “We definitely don’t deserve this,” someone said and everybody agreed.

*“Somebody once told me I should be a hand model.”*

*“I only have nude pictures of my dad on my phone.”*

*“Apparently Goaldiggers ran a 10k yesterday.”*

*“Are you constipated? Let me know if you’d like me to squeeze you like a toothpaste. I’m on hand.”*

*“The man who designed the logos said he couldn’t do it at work, he couldn’t do it at home. He had to do it in the park.”*

Chapter 2: The Tournament

Ladies Super5league is a London-based ladies football league run by Shazza who puts his spare time and money into it because he believes women should have the same access to football as men. Today is Super5League’s first international tournament.
